Play Football Malawi<\/h2>\n

Play Football Malawi creates sports and educational facility in Malawi. The goal is to help Malawian children holistically by giving them access to the following three areas:<\/p>\n

Educational institution<\/h2>\n

In Malawi, it is not uncommon for 200 children of a school class to sit on the floor – without writing or learning material. Many children do not even have the opportunity to go to school at all.The Zikomo Foundation counteracts this need by building and leading educational institutions.<\/p>\n

Aid program in the juvenile prison<\/h2>\n

The youth prison in Lilongwe is completely overcrowded. “The one-sided diet, miserable sanitation and sleeping on hard stone floors lead to serious illnesses. The Zikomo Foundation provides inmates access to education, additional food rations, sports lessons and medical Care.<\/p>\n

Support in the orphanage<\/h2>\n

In Malawi, due to poor medical care, there are numerous orphans for whom Crisis Nursery offers a home. Here the Zikomo Foundation supports? through finances, food and toys. Through our participation Crisis Nursery has been able to take in 4,000 orphans since 1999 and care<\/p>\n

Assistance packages for the needy<\/h2>\n

Old-age poverty is a widespread problem in Malawi, which the state can not counteract due to a lack of old-age provision. The Zikomo Foundation distributes monthly aid packages that meet the basic needs of the elderly, needy people of the community\u00a0Likuni.<\/p>\n
